As part of a contract to provide Businesses Transformation Services, the GAPRO Team have worked with the Board and senior leadership teams of a major infrastructure business to identify opportunities for enhancement of core Project and Programme Management capabilities. The GAPRO team worked with the business to identify skills and training, process and operational improvements to the Programme and Project Management capability across the organisation. Engaging all levels of the team, a structured improvement programme was developed and rolled out to enhance this core capability for a blue chip Rail and Power capital infrastructure services provider. GAPRO are pleased to announce the award of a contract to provide Strategic Business Transformation supporting a UK based, Engineering Services blue chip providing critical services across the Rail and Power sectors. GAPRO will provide initial scoping and planning activity and work with the senior leadership team in the business to deliver organisation, process and operational improvements. GAPRO have successfully worked with a Columbian EPC contractor and a European generating equipment provider to plan a new 60 MW power plant for Columbia. Working with teams in Columbia and Europe, GAPRO were able to draw upon experience of managing complex plant logistics and construction to significantly rationalize and shorten the overall programme timescales to meet the end user requirements. Using the latest video conferencing technology to bring teams from Columbia, the United States, Europe and India together the GAPRO team were able to successfully facilitate effective collaborative workshops efficiently, significantly reducing the need for extensive travel. “We are pleased to be able to use our unique skills and experience to work with cross-cultural teams across the world to once again successfully develop a plan for a multi-million pound capital programme in a remote location”, comments Manging Director, Gavin Armstrong.
As part of a contract to provide Business Transformation consultancy, coaching and support, the GAPRO team have helped a blue chip high technology equipment provider to develop, recruit and establish a new team and ways of working in order to improve focus on cost throughout the business. Providing insight on organisation design, supporting recruitment of a new executive and team members and assisting in establishing new ways of working have allowed this well established, high technology equipment provider save in excess of £10 M in less than 12 months. “Our team have the depth and breadth of experience of working with businesses across multiple sectors and disciplines to effectively establish teams and new ways of working that quickly delivery tangible bottom line benefits” shares Managing Director, Gavin Armstrong.

The GAPRO team are working with a major European industrial plant and equipment supplier to successfully introduce new products into global markets. The GAPRO team have the experience and proven capability to help both large corporate and small to medium enterprises with the timely development and delivery of new products for customers across aerospace, rail, nuclear, marine and land markets. Working with a FTSE 100 global power systems provider the GAPRO Team have successfully led Value Analysis and Value Engineering of large scale capital plant development activity. With the support of specialists drawn from civil engineering, architecture, modular equipment providers and installation contractors together with customer plant designers and cost excellence teams, the GAPRO team were able to facilitate successful workshops reviewing whole plant design, engineering and delivery. Engaging a cross functional team of industry expertise the team were able to identify, assess and prioritise significant opportunities to optimise future customer offerings from a time, cost and quality perspective.
As part of a contract to provide Business Transformation Services, the GAPRO team have worked with a major European engineering equipment supplier to develop a successful Cost Excellence programme, delivering in excess of 10% reduction in product cost within the first 6 months. As part of a contract to provide Programme Leadership Services for a globally renowned power plant provider, the GAPRO team are drawing upon decades of experience of leading complex infrastructure and industrial product and service programmes to lead work to Engineer, Procure and Construct a number of large greenhouse Combined Heat and Power plants across the Benelux region.
