GAPRO plan a new power plant for Columbia

GAPRO have successfully worked with a Columbian EPC contractor and a European generating equipment provider to plan a new 60 MW power plant for Columbia. Working with teams in Columbia and Europe, GAPRO were able to draw upon experience of managing complex plant logistics and construction to significantly rationalize and shorten the overall programme timescales to meet the end user requirements. Using the latest video conferencing technology to bring teams from Columbia, the United States, Europe and India together the GAPRO team were able to successfully facilitate effective collaborative workshops efficiently, significantly reducing the need for extensive travel. “We are pleased to be able to use our unique skills and experience to work with cross-cultural teams across the world to once again successfully develop a plan for a multi-million pound capital programme in a remote location”, comments Manging Director, Gavin Armstrong.
